Send emails with larger file attachments upto 2GB

Email is one of the most popular communication methods among the people who use computers in the modern world. Over 90% of the communication requirements can be fulfilled by using emails. Photos, Videos, music, text, etc can be sent via email. There are loads of companies implemented free email services with different kinds of criteria.

When you want to send a file like picture, video, etc you should send it as an attachment, which means you are attaching a file into your email message. The receiving party can be downloaded and use the attachment soon after receiving it. But you cannot send very large files as attachments with free emailing services. They offer limited attachment capacity due to their server limitations like bandwidth and so on.

Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, AOL are some of free email providers but they do not allows us to attach huge files. So the people who want to send larger files to their friends faced a big problem recently. Some were used alternative ways to share large files among them. Uploading to a remote server and giving the link back to download the file is one way. There are also file sharing web sites launched to overcome this issue. But most of them were not free and there were also some limitations, which the users cannot share large files without any barrier.

Starting a new era in email there are few companies offer sending email facility with large file attachments nowadays. The most important factor is it is completely free; even there are few paid packages which you have to select from if you want some special features. Now you can attach up to 2GB files with your own email address.

You don't need to register to new email account; no need to change your existing email address and importantly you can send emails using your own email address. Just you have to mention your email address, path of the attachment of your computer and the recipient address. Isn't that sounds fantastic?

How does it work?

Well, this is like you are getting some space from a server temporarily. When you attach the file, it is automatically stores in a server temporarily and from the server your recipient gets a small email message with a download link to the corresponding file. Once the recipient downloads the file from the server it is permanently deleted from the server. Some are not deletes the file until it reaches the specified downloads / number of days to keep it. So you never get the attachment directly into your inbox which looks good because your free email provider not causes any problem since the message size is not too large. This way you can only send emails with larger than 50MB in size. These limitations may differ from site to site as there are a number of large email providers operating in the internet today.
